  • How soon do I need to book my wedding makeup?
A date isn't held without an executed contract and retainer. The sooner you know your date, the better. On average, I book about six months to one year out, however there are dates more popular than others (peak season is May-October). Also note that COVID-19 has elevated the amount of inquiries coming in so many popular dates may book out 1.5-2 years out. Once you have secured a venue and date, I advise that you should book hair and makeup shortly after.
  • I have a large party - are you able to accommodate?
With a network of extremely skilled makeup artists (who just so happen to be my friends), I am able to build a team of as many artists as needed to accommodate your party and will be in charge of paying them out.
  • Do you have a minimum for on-location services?
There is a minimum of 3 for on-location bridal services , however I can accommodate the bride only if requested- additional fees will apply.
  • Why should I hire a you, a professional makeup artist, for my big day?
There are quite a few reasons but here are the top three reasons why you should hire a professional makeup artist for your wedding day: #1: Weddings, no matter how big or small, are an investment. One of those investments may be towards a photographer you've been admiring on social media for years. You invest in a great photographer to capture one of the most important day of your life- why not look like your best self in them? # 2: You will be busy on your wedding day- you deserve to enjoy it, even getting ready. You will have a lot of moving parts and people- you've dedicated a lot of time planning this day- you, yes YOU, deserve to be pampered. You deserve to sit back, relax, and have others do things for you. My #1 goal is to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and beautiful inside and out on your special day. #3: Professional makeup artists know what works and doesn't work in front of the camera- they also know how to work with all skin types and tones. Event makeup is very different than your everyday makeup- we have to ensure its sweat-proof, kiss-proof, smudge-proof, hug-proof, etc. With over 10 years of experience, I've tested and tried hundreds (probably thousands) of professional products and know what works with specific skin types, tones, etc. and what is long-wearing. As a licensed esthetician, I know how to approach skin and how to apply the correct products to any skin type and tone.
  • How long does it take per person for makeup on the wedding day?
On average it takes about 45 minutes per service for each bridal party member and one hour, fifteen minutes for brides. 10-15 minutes are added into the schedule in between attendants to disinfect and prepare for the next appointment. I always leave extra time after all attendees are completed for touch-ups. I will work with you to nail down a detailed schedule before your wedding to share with your bridal party and other vendors.
  • My venue is requiring all vendors to offer a Certificate of Insurance- is this something you can provide?
As a licensed esthetician, I am fully insured through ASCP and can provide a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
  • Do you do trial runs/previews?
Yes! I highly recommend a trial-run or bridal preview and don't mind if you want to "try before you buy" to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your makeup before you sign a contract, however the only way to lock in your event date is with a fully executed contract and 50% retainer. The trial takes about 2 hours and allows us to work together to develop your desired look. I also ask that, if possible, you wear the look throughout the day. I will always follow up 24-48 hours after your trial to see how you liked your makeup- how it wore throughout the day and what changes, if any, you have or want to make. I recommend you book a trial 6 months prior to your event date. I hold the bridal trials typically on Thursdays and Fridays at my home studio space in North Reading, MA. On-location trials will incur additional fees.
  • Can I bring a guest to my trial?
Due to COVID-19 regulations and out of extra caution, I ask that you bring only one guest to the trial and I ask that they remained masked for the entire duration of the trial. I also ask that if we do a trial in your home, that everyone in the house be masked for the duration of the trial or fully vaccinated.

  • What type of makeup do you use?
I carry a variety of professional and high-end luxury brands. All of the products in our kit are hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin. Have an allergy? Please let us know!
  • Is your kit sanitary?
Sanitation is my #1 priority! I use freshly cleaned brushes and new disposables on each person. I wash and sanitize my hands in between each attendant and keep my metal tools clean with alcohol spray. I also wear a mask the entire time we are in attendance and sanitize each station in between attendants.
